YOUR TCG POST
There are many different ways to set up your TCG post, and lots of different places that you can put it. If you have your own site, then maybe you can make a page for it there. If you use LiveJournal or a blog, those are very easy to update and very easy for people to leave you comments for trade (just make sure that everything is public, and that anonymous comments are enabled!).
If you make a page for it on your website, don't forget to include a trade form, or your email address so that people can offer you trades. If you use a blog of any sort, provide an email address for people who don't/can't leave you comments.
Most importantly, divide your cards up in a way that makes sense. Most people put Collecting and Keeping cards at the top, followed by May Trade, Will Trade, Pending Trades, and Other Cards & Coupons. You also need to put your log and your member info (member name, your level, amount of cards, etc) somewhere. How you divide it up is completely up to you, but make sure it makes sense, and that it's obvious what is what!
You can see some examples of TCG posts here, here and here. Yours does not have to look like this, but it will give you an idea of what to include.
Member Info
Your post must always include your member name, your level, the amount of cards you have (membercards do not count, they are all worth 0, all other cards are worth 1, and coupons are worth 0 until exchanged for a card), and a link back to Heartchu.
Log
You need to keep a log. We cannot stress this enough. If you do not keep a log, then we will ask you to create one. If you still don't, we will remove you from the game. A log is a must, there are no exceptions. You need to note down every single card you got and exactly how you got it. Your log must also be easy to find, either in the same post as your cards, or with a link on your cards page to your log.
Collecting
These are the cards that you are collecting first, the ones that you give highest priority to. It's helpful if you use the blank 00 cards (provided on each deck's page!) as placeholders for the cards that you don't have yet. It looks cool, and lets you easily see your progress and what you're missing. You can collect as much as you like, but we'd recommend no more than 3 decks, especially since you'll probably have other things in your Keeping section too.
Keeping
These are cards that you aren't collecting right now, but want to for future collections, or maybe you just really loved that card for some reason. Try to not put too much in here, or you'll end up with nothing to trade!
May Trade
These are cards that you'd like to keep but maybe you'll trade them if the offer is good, like if someone offers you cards that you're collecting or keeping. Be willing to sacrifice some of these, otherwise you're going to find yourself getting nowhere!
Trading
These are the cards that you don't want, and will trade. Some people will still only trade for things that they want, whereas some people will quite literally trade for anything. Personally, we would suggest you consider trading them for anything, even for cards you don't really want - this keeps a flow of different cards coming into your post, instead of you just being stuck with the same cards between game updates, plus don't forget that every trade counts towards your stampcard, so even if you trade 12 times cards you don't want for cards you also don't want, at least at the end of it you'll have 12 stamps, and can get 2 random cards as your reward!
Pending/Under Offer
This is a really helpful section to include, because then it lets people see what you've already offered to someone so that they don't ask for it as well. It's also helpful for you, because then you'll remember what cards someone has already asked for. You should move the card to this section every time you offer it, or every time an offer is made on it. It may also be helpful to note beside the card who it was for, and what it was for, that way you can easily remember who the person was and what you wanted from them, so that you can follow it up if they haven't replied in a few days, and so that you don't go asking for the same card from someone else because you forgot you already asked another person.
The Other Stuff
Your post also needs to include your coupons, event cards, and if you're collecting them then membercards too. Coupons need to be updated every time you exchange one, don't forget! You can either post the image more than once to show how many of which type you have, or just post the image once then say x2 next to it to say how many of that type you have.
