PLAYER GUIDE

Please read through these pages, especially if you are new to TCGs, or if you aren't sure about something. If you can't find your answers here, or if you still don't understand, please do not hesitate to email us. We are more than happy to answer any questions, even if they're really stupid! It's better to ask questions and do things right, than to just fumble along and do things wrong. So don't be shy!

RULES

First things first, rules are important and the ones listed below you must follow. So read them carefully! They are rules that all TCGs go by, but even if you are seasoned in TCGs, please read them anyway.

1) You must have somewhere to put your cards. How else are you suppose to show what you're collecting and trading? You don't need to be a HTML expert, and it doesn't need to be fancy! LiveJournal or other blogs are a good way to do it if you don't own your own webspace, and if you really don't know where to start just go through our memberlist and see how our other members have done theirs.

2) Keep your site decent, nothing nasty, illegal or inappropriate. For example, no porn, hentai, racist content, etc.

3) No joining twice or faking referrals. You cannot join twice just to get more cards, or send in fake forms just so that you can get referral rewards. Please also do not take the freebies or participate in games before you have been accepted and you have recieved your starter pack. This way we can keep up with our members easier.

4) No drama. We have a drama free policy. No disrespect, no flaming of the members and staff. Constructive critism is always appreciated but keep it nice. People put lots of effort and work into making things fun for you. If you do not hold yourself to this rule you will be warned once, the second time you will be banned. To show you read the rules so far, put the name of your favourite member from our five featured artists in the comments of your form and you'll get another card. We want to keep this place fun, so help us with that!

5) Be polite. When trading cards, make sure to be nice and ask politely for the card you want and if you are denied said card tough luck. We know how frustrating it can be if someone doesn't want to give you that card you really really want, but being rude about it is not acceptable and I am sure you can find it somewhere else. If we hear any complaints, we will look into it.

6) No direct linking! Please make sure to upload the cards, coupons, badges, buttons, stampcards and whatever else to your own server. Photobucket is great for this, free and easy to use.

7) No stealing or cheating! You cannot take cards from peoples pages without asking to trade first. This also applies to the site, do not steal cards from decks posted on here. And don't take more freebies than you are allowed to take!

8) Keep a log. No excuses, you must use one no matter what. Make sure to include absolutely everything: what you recieved in your starter pack, what cards you traded and to who, freebies, rewards from games, donations, levelling up, etc. If your log is missing or too vague, we may not give you your rewards. Keep it clean and simple, easy to follow. Here is an example of what we consider to be a good log: here and here.

9) Put your cards up as soon as possible. We will get your starter pack to you within a few days, and you have two weeks to put them up on your site. Once you have done this, you need to email us so that we can remove you from the Pending list. Your page also needs to display a button and be linked back to Heartchu, so that other people know where to go to join.

10) Each card may only be traded for one card. Do not trade 2 normal cards for 1 normal card. You may, however, offer 2 normal cards for one Limited Edition card. But you may not ask or demand for this, and under no circumstances may you trade 2 normal cards for 1 normal card.

11) And that's it! To make sure you have read the rules, put your favorite fruit in the comments. You will recieve an extra card for this!
